The relationship is part of the work.

My work is depth-oriented and relational. Together, we explore how your past continues to shape the present, while paying attention to what emerges in our work together. Therapy can bring us closer to experiences that have been difficult to understand or put into words, and help us notice familiar ways of relating as they unfold between us.

This work is about more than insight. The experience of being understood within a therapeutic relationship can allow something different to emerge. Over time, this can create greater freedom in how you relate to yourself and others, and in the choices you make about how you want to live.

I’m particularly drawn to working with people navigating complex trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties, grief and loss, questions of identity and meaning, and major life transitions. Experiences like these can deeply unsettle our sense of self and affect how we move through the world.

Background and Training

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked internationally as a photographer and filmmaker, an experience that shaped my interest in people, identity, and the ways we make meaning of our lives. I later earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Southern Maine, building on a Bachelor of Arts in Writing from Emerson College.

My clinical background includes providing therapeutic care in inpatient psychiatry with individuals experiencing acute and complex mental health concerns, as well as work in grief and bereavement services. I have also completed specialized training in psychedelic-assisted therapy. For the past three years, I have worked as a research associate on work presented at the Trauma Research Foundation’s International Trauma Conference, contributing to research focused on trauma and its treatment.
